I
What do you love to read, to do, to dream? We all have dreams at some point in our life, but sometimes those dreams are shattered. I know because a few of mine were crippled, but then love came along and healed me from depression, fear, doubt and rejection. Now my heart is full of joy. Well.. not all the time, but more and more.
My books and my writings reflect the hope that God planted in me through trials and storms. He gave me a great love for people, nature, beauty and story telling. I also enjoy a good mystery and suspense, so you'll find that in my debut novel the Dividing Stone is a supernatural mystery with an artist as the protagonist. I just happen to be an artist myself, so there's a bit of me in The Dividing Stone. Click on the Books tab to find out more about this intriguing story that is soon to be on audible.
If you've visited my web-site before you'll notice some changes. Well there's a good reason for that. I recently embarked on a trip of a lifetime and my new background hints to it. Yes, it's a picture of Santorini in Greece where we traveled on a pilgrimage following the Steps of John and Paul, the apostles. We also journeyed to Ephesus in Turkey and saw the amphitheater where a riot broke out by the silversmiths because of Paul's converting so many to Christianity. The craftsmen feared their trade would become obsolete creating all sorts of amulets and statues of their various gods. Of particular note was their famous temple worship to Artemis, or Diana as she was known in the Roman pantheon. We explored many more Biblical sites, which I will share in my blog. (The photo on the left is me in front of the Library at Ephesus. I was told it was the second-largest library in antiquity, and I do love books! I hope you do too!)
Now, I'd like to draw your attention to my newest book, Armed for Prayer, A Strategic Guide to Victory. It's filled with a wealth of knowledge about Biblical promises, the importance of prayer, your identity in Christ and how to develop an intimate relationship with God.
